Pete Owen
Senior Partnership Broker
Pete Owen has over twenty years experience working in senior executive and management roles across a range of industries in Australia and overseas.
His most recent role was CEO of a large privately owned manufacturing organisation based in South Australia with extensive holdings throughout Asia. Pete was instrumental in the development and execution of the five-year strategic plan and the company wide change management process. Pete’s strengths are his proven sales and marketing skills and his ability to drive and motivate teams which have been acquired from both the corporate and public sector. His ability to understand issues quickly and his passion for building sustainable partnerships have proven successful in high level negotiations and commercial relationships.
Pete has contributed to strategic projects, boards and advisory bodies such as:
- The development of a joint Venture in Thailand for the construction of a major manufacturing asset.
- A Federal Government Partnering initiative in South Australia’s APY Lands aimed at supporting Indigenous youth.
- Hewlett Packards Executive Management Fast Track program.
- Board member of Michell Nankai Malaysia
- Development of a Strategic MOU between South Australian Government, Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement and the South Australian Chamber of Mines & Energy. The initiative was specifically focused on opportunities that lead to the successful participation of Indigenous people in the resources sector.
- Facilitation of the South Australian Water Industry Alliance Board Strategic Planning process.
- Member of the Bedford Foundation Mergers and Acquisitions Committee.
Pete is an internationally accredited partnership broker through an initiative managed by the International Business Leaders Forum (UK).
Freda Bouras

Business Manager
Originally qualifying and working as a Chartered Accountant Freda then shifted her focus to the improvement and management of business beyond, but including the financial perspective. She left public practice to explore other opportunities that have included senior management positions across a wide range of industry sectors including ICT, manufacturing and hospitality.
Most recently Freda has worked as a consultant and facilitator and has advised a number of organisations around Australia. She is an experienced presenter of financial, management and business skills development programs and has delivered many courses nationally.
Since 2009 Freda has had an active role in the strategic direction and operations of DIXON Partnering Solutions. She has supported and assisted in the development and administration of partnering programs as well as provided Finance and Administration support and advice.
Freda has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Mykel Dixon
Creative Consultant
Mykel is a musician, writer, speaker, entrepreneur, lover, dreamer, believer and creator of the b. movement
Mykel creates, performs and travels whilst helping people remember who they are, reconnect to their unique essence and reclaim their future by learning to live in accordance with their own core truth.
Mykel provides creative support to DIXON Partnering Solutions through design of presentations and website content as well as support and advice on social media communications.
