The Partnership Brokering Project

 

This is a global programme of the International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF) and has been at the forefront of developing and promoting the concept of partnership brokering – the skilled management of the partnering process supporting partners throughout the partnership-brokers-training/ life cycle.

The Partnership Brokering Project comprises a comprehensive training program, action research, review and evaluation of partnership brokering impacts a campaign. It is designed to set standards, promote integrity and professionalise brokering as well as to produce compelling evidence of the importance of brokering in effective partnerships. It has genuine global reach, more than 600 people from 70+ countries are graduates of the Partnership Brokering Training and this course is now being offered to organisations and partnerships as well as to individuals.

DIXON Partnering Solutions conducts the Partnership Brokering Training for the South East Asian and Australasian Region on behalf of IBLF and Ian Dixon is member of the International Advisory Group for this initiative.

The Partnering Initiative

 

The Partnering Initiative (TPI) is a specialist programme of the International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF), an international non-profit organisation.

With 20 years of leading-edge work in the theory and practice of cross-sector partnering, TPI facilitates widespread, systematic and effective collaboration between civil society, government, development agencies and business by: developing capacity; providing direct support to individuals, organisations and partnerships; and setting standards in partnering practice through its range of tools and guidebooks.

TPI operates through a central hub based in the UK and delivers services and projects through a global network of highly experienced Associates. Ian Dixon is an Associate with TPI.

Business for Millennium Development (B4MD)

 

Business for Millennium Development (B4MD) is an NGO that assists Australian business to form profitable opportunities that deliver poverty reduction outcomes in support of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), in the Asia Pacific Region.

Established in 2007, B4MD is supported by its founding members IBM, KPMG, Insurance Australia Group, Visy, Oil Search and World Vision. B4MD is further supported by the Australian Federal Government through AusAID.

In 2008, together with AusAID and UNDP, B4MD hosted the inaugural Business for Millennium Development National Summit. From 2009, B4MD is directing its attention to the facilitation of multi party links between Australian companies and NGO’s to catalyse the creation of new enterprises that are self sustaining, profitable and which deliver on the MDGs.

B4MD works to complement the Federal Government’s commitment to the Business Call to Action which calls upon companies around the world to undertake their core business with the poor.
