The project

The ILUA Statewide Negotiations process has been established to develop template agreements and negotiated agreements across South Australia that will eventually lead to resolution of native title claims.

An ILUA is an agreement, outside of the courts, between native title claimants and other people who have an interest in the land and waters covered by the claim - for example, pastoralists, farmers, miners, fishers and governments.

The negotiating parties have been meeting as a main table and a range of side tables, which focus on specific issues.

Our role

We assist the parties as independent chairs and process managers for the many facets of these negotiations.

'Ian has gone out of his way to understand the dynamics of the groups involved and the different ways we all do business - this has helped us formulate a program to suit everyone's needs'.
